We’re thrilled to introduce our very first Neighborhood Hero in the Adopt a Block program,The Dirt Dames!

This powerhouse team of women has been showing up, pitching in, and making a difference with both grit and grace. The Dirt Dames, Marcy Ellis, Rhonda Powers, Joanne Zick, Beth Cirillo, and Sarah Watson, have brought energy, laughter, and commitment to every project they’ve tackled.

Marcy Ellis was one of the earliest participants in the program, joining about two years ago alongside her husband under the name,The Ellis Family. Rhonda was also involved from the beginning, and over time, this incredible group of women formed their own team. Officially, the Dirt Dames have been going strong for almost a year, completing three projects since December.

They’re fun, funny, and deeply motivated to serve our community. Best of all, they’ve made each clean-up feel like time spent with good friends.

We’re so proud to recognize them as our first Neighborhood Hero, and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow their team and impact!
