Help us ring in the Christmas season by lighting the big tree in Katherine Davis Park!

About the event
Hosted by the Town of Morehead City, the annual Morehead City Tree Lighting ceremony is a fun tradition for folks of all ages! Bring the family for music, games, hot chocolate, and some holiday magic. In fact - Mr. & Mrs. Claus may even make an appearance! The festivities will start at 5:30pm, and Mayor Jerry Jones will gather the crowd to light the tree at 6:00pm.
Be sure to wear your Christmas best and enter in the best-dressed contest, organized by the Parks & Recreation Department! And don't forget your smart phone or camera for the perfect photo opportunity in front of the beautiful tree.
